BMW Factory Leipzig
Lignite-fired Plant Lippendorf

 

The BMW Factory Leipzig is the newest and most modern member of the production network of the BMW Group. The visit to the factory includes a guided tour through the car production line.
Afterwards, a visit to the Lignite-fired Plant Lippendorf will take place. The plant was put into operation in 2000 and with its effective output of 2 x 933 MW it is one of the most powerful lignite-fired plants in Germany.
